Please help. Something killed two of my ducks.

My guess is a dog. I wouldn't have believed that dogs would pull the neck through and eat it, but I have actually witnessed a neighbor's dog doing exactly that. Because this happened during the day, makes me more inclined to think dog.

If you post pics of the run where the birds were killed we might be able to figure it out.
Or maybe it doesn't matter anymore as you've gotten rid of the remaining bird and their run?
 
My suggestion is game cameras. I have several on my property and what ever it was has and will be back especially since it made a kill and then you will know what you're dealing with and then you can figure out the best way to handle it. This is a good camera and inexpensive. The only drawback it that it takes the tiny micro SD cards. I have 6 of these cameras.

Foxes have broken into my chook run in the middle of the day and didn't eat any thing maybe cover the top of the run

If I read the thread correctly, the one remaining bird was given to a friend. So, there are no more birds in the coop. So I don't think whatever it was will be back.
