Foxes have broken into my chook run in the middle of the day and didn't eat any thing maybe cover the top of the run
If I read the thread correctly, the one remaining bird was given to a friend. So, there are no more birds in the coop. So I don't think whatever it was will be back.My suggestion is game cameras. I have several on my property and what ever it was has and will be back especially since it made a kill and then you will know what you're dealing with and then you can figure out the best way to handle it. This is a good camera and inexpensive. The only drawback it that it takes the tiny micro SD cards. I have 6 of these cameras.
