Please help this hen

I'm posting this for a friend. This hen has 1 eye swollen shut, the other has puss coming out. She says it's comb is turning black with blood. I assumed pecking, but she says this hen is at the top of the order. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If there is a bad odor coming from her head it could be coryza. If not it may be MG(CRD.) These are both serious respiratory diseases contagious to the flock, and all flock members can become carriers of the disease. Many would cull for these diseases, but coryza is best treated with sulfadimethoxine or sulmet, while MG is treated with Tylan or oxytetracycline.
