I recently rescued a turkey hen from an abandoned farm in So. California and she's an absolute mess. Her entire body is covered with crusty patches. I attached a couple of photos (I hope) but she's covered including her legs, chest, ear openings, and at the base of all her feathers. Could this be mites gone wild? Or something else. She's also underweight and possibly molting. Best way to treat her? Please help. TIA

The head lesions look like fowl pox.
