Please help! Two criticaly injured hens from fox bite!

They are inside in my laundry. The girl with the injured neck is on a nest of sheets with a chair over her with a blanket over top and the other girl is in a little cubby with a towel on the floor and a pillow slip blocking the light. I have also put the baby gate up to stop the dogs from poking around.

I have called hubby and he will be finishing early today to help me improve their pen, I am also thinking of buying a flood light or a strobe to keep them away.
 
We use red predator eyes which are pretty much just red flashing lights. They work great and only turn on at night. They work for raccoons and oppossums too! Good luck! Also, electric poultry netting is invaluable, I would HIGHLY reccomend it before any more attacks can happen. Once again, good luck! Hope your chickens make it!

I have an old rooster that has recovered from just about every predator around here: fox, owl, hawk, rooster and dog. (tough old silkie) Anyway the best stuff I have used is to clean the wound, then neosporin (without pain medicine added) and then top it off with a little SWAT to keep the flies and bugs out. He has healed up nicely every time. Now he lives in our "fort knox" so hopefully my wounded warrior can retire in peace. He was our first chicken 7 plus years ago and so unfortunately we have learned the hard way about tighter security, lights, cover, etc. I also give him a little electrolytes or nutridrench the first night after each attack.

He is still the patriarch of our silkie pen.

Oh wow! He is a trooper!! I am glad to hear he lived through the worst!! Our girl who has been bitten on the back is doing well now, her back crusted over so I have returned her to the flock. The girl with the bitten neck is getting stronger everyday (even trying to stand!!) her neck is less swollen but very bruised still but is eating well and drinking plenty of fluid. I have been cleaning her neck daily and gently applying iodine.
