PLEASE HELP: Two-Day-Old is Tiny, Wobbly, Can't Stand Up

I agree the chicks are tough to lose. I know better but I had one that came with my 50 that was half the size of the others and I tried to save him :( sadly what I already knew.. happened. I should feel better knowing I tried, but I just feel stupid knowing there was nothing I could do. I have 49 healthy silly chicks running around the brooder eating and drinking and starting to get their feathers on their wings :). Sorry for our losses.

Poor little chicks

I guess the only thing that makes me feel any better is that both of my babies got to nap in the sun before they died. The worst part is that I think it was the shipping that did it, not anything biological, and that just breaks my heart, that my decision to ship killed what could have been perfectly healthy babies.

Ah well, even chicks sometimes die. My first batch I had 30 and didn't lose a single one, so it's my first time having any dead ones this tiny. You losing 1/50 is really good! I just have to keep reminding myself to focus on caring for the healthy, living babies.
