Okay everyone. I have a prediciment. Our Silver Sebright hen is missing! I do believe a hawk got her, we found a few feathers in the trail behind our house, though none were bloody. Took her last night while she slept. Her rooster is having a cow at this point as so is my son. He loved this pair and is just terribly upset as she is missing. I need to locate another hen soon. Does anyone know anyone that lives in the general area of myself that has this type of chicken? My son is autistic as well as having a neuromuscular disease. He loved this chicken very much. We have since fixed the cage where it flew in I assume, but my son is still devastated. Anyone in our upstate SC area have these?
