On a side note, she has pooped! Hooray! It's a little watery but other than that pretty normal. I assume we can rule out egg binding?

Could she have had an egg break inside of her?

I'm not sure. There has been no sign of shell, but it's possible a shell-less egg "popped" inside of her.

It’s true that if a hen is completely ”eggbound” it restricts the ability for waste to pass through.

I have a duck that has something wrong with her vent as well it looks like all her feathers have been pulled out and swollen...I have no idea what is going one. I hope you are able to help your chicken and she feels better soon!
