Alright so due to a family emergency I had to leave my eggs with someone else for about half the incubation period.... not that I am blaming them for anything it could be a number of reasons from bad eggs to transportation or humidity or whatever, just saying that I was absent for about half the incubation cycle... Day 9-17 well yesterday day 21 I had the third of the four chicks currently out hatch and it is Soooo Tiny I don't know how to get across how small it is, it is a bantam breed and it is at least 1/2 smaller than the other bantams. It hatched with some unabsorbed yoke which has happened to me before but it always got absorbed or dried up and fell off chick fine and running around by day 3 or 4 well this one is giving be doubts.... My best guess would be that it is too small to take in whats left of the yoke and is looking very weak... I got it to drink a little water from my finger and got it to eat some...it seems so strong and it peeps just as loud as the others but I notice it has trouble standing and leans forward a lot and it still has a good bit of yoke sticking out of its rear. At this point I don't know what to do and need help anybody else gone through this ? I really want it to make it because this has been a really disappointing hatch out of 22 eggs on day 22 four have hatched two healthy looking ones then this one and another with curly feet that will be getting a boot before I head out for school tomorrow.
