I have 3 as yet unidentified bantam chicks from the TSC bantam bin. Please help me decide this once and for all!
I called and found out that they get their bantams from Privett hatchery. I went on the privett website and they don't list their chicken breeds on there. So, I called them to find out what kind of banties they have, and the lady told me, "We have over a hundred breeds, it would take a long time for me to list them off to you. Why don't you just tell me what kind you want." So, I told her that I had gotten some from TSC and they told me they had gotten them from there. I just wanted to narrow down what kind they could have gotten so I could identify them. She told me to just wait til they get older and then find out what they were. Anyway, I emailed them asking for a list of their bantams, but have heard no reply. BYC, you are my only hope!
The first one is Nugget. We've had him/her(?) a week and I think he was not more than a week old. So he/she(?) probably just under 2 weeks old or right at it.
This is a good shot of Nugget's comb.
Nugget's back and wing.
Nugget's leg color.
Nugget, full view.
Next is Iddy. and she is TINY! I hope she's an EE. Need some opinions on that. I don't think she can be more than 3 or 4 days old. I'm grounding myself from TSC! You can tell on Iddy that we thought about banding her little leg with a tiny zip tie, well it just slipped off. We decided they were way too little as of yet.
Iddy's Leg view.
Iddy's tiny wing and partial back shot.

Biddy is next. She is also tiny. Looks a lot like Iddy but she's got a little more brown in her coloring, though she still seems to have more grey. I didn't use the flash on Biddy's pictures, so she looks darker than Iddy in these. You can tell more in the pics of them together.
Biddy's little leg and side.
Biddy's tiny wing.
Biddy's back.
Biddy, full view.
In these you can tell that Iddy and Biddy are very closely colored. Biddy has just a little more brown on her(?).

Thanks so much for everyone's help! One more question. How can you tell what kind of comb the chick has on chicks so young?
