Hey y’all, we posted some of our chicks but not all and some were mixed up so we banded them and want to try again please help us. We got them from Meyer hatchery and are rare breed. I’ll post pictures with letter on it since some might be 2 or more of the same breed I have no idea. Also G is a bantam chick.
Thanks

I just want to first off say these are really nice photos for helping do breed ID! Feathers, comb, feet, perfect! Here's what I'm thinking-

A- Lavender Orp, Blue Orpington maybe?
B- Lavender or Blue Orp, Meyer says their Blue Ameraucanas are banded with a blue band, although I dont see a beard and it's got a single comb.
C- Again Lavender or Blue Orp, also possibly Blue Ameraucana, but again single comb, doesn't look like it has beard.... B & C could also I guess be Andalusians
D- I see a beard but Meyer says their Red/Dark Pink bands go on Blue/Splash/Black Marans or their Blue Copper Marans, so probably a Marans! Although if it DOES end up having a beard and it's not baby fluff I'd bet it's an Ameraucana : D
F- I think that band is blue... So probably a Golden Cuckoo Marans, Cream Legbar or it could be a Swedish Flower!
G- Bantam Welsummer maybe... I don't think they carry other bantams that would feather like that.
J- Dominique but it looks like it has a beard hmm...
K- Golden Laced Wyandotte
M- Interesting comb, could just be a single but I'd love to see another photo of it : O Possibly a partridge Penedesenca
N- Blue Laced Red Wyandotte... looks like this little guy might have a beak deformity or parrot beak, although I'm not too familiar with either ^^"
O- Single comb barred... hmm probably either a Heritage Barred Rock or a Cuckoo Marans
P- Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
Q- Golden Cuckoo Maran, Cream Legbar or Swedish Flower

I think it's really nice that Meyer bands their chicks for Identification. I think it's a really useless tool though when they don't tell you all of the possibilities. I went on their website and poked around and it's so limited whats listed there, for example you have a black banded chick, but thats not even an option on their "heres what our bands mean" page xD oh well, maybe one day a hatchery will do it right...

E & H- Looking at all of the possibilities for what chipmunk chicks can grow up to makes my head spin! It could be a lot of things. Although just like with the rest of the chicks here I (and all of the others here on BYC!) can give you much better guesses as they get older!! Can't wait to see them later on : D I think breed and gender aside, you got a pretty rad mix of chicks

I put those bands on myself just so I can tell who is who.

A-Lavender Orpington
B-Am I correct I'm seeing darker feather patches? If so, it's splash something-maybe Andalusian, Orpington, or Marans, if not, Lavender Orpington as well
C-Lavender Orpington
D-Black Ameraucana or an egger of some sort
E-honestly not sure yet, wait until it feathers out
F-Olive Egger or another egger strain
G-how many toes? Maybe be Silver Grey Dorking
H-might be another egger or maybe Cream Legbar, but doesn't look quite right to me
J-egger, maybe Olive
K-Black Laced Red Wyandotte
M-bizarre bird, looks to have a buttercup comb, yet Sicilian Buttercups aren't stocked by Meyers... skin color appears to be wrong for Penedesenca
N-Splash Laced Red Wyandotte
O-Cuckoo Marans
P-Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
Q-Cream Legbar or egger
Obviously they're still young yet, but these are my current guesses
