not exactly sure what this thing is, but my duck has been chewing it and we just now noticed (it was rainy all day so she was playing while i was indoors)

Flew to where? Where did the thing come from? The house, the yard, the trash...

None of us know what objects are in your space. From the photo I have no idea where its from or any idea what it is. It could be a lot of things. Is it hard, soft, fibrous? It sorta looks like a dirty piece of insulation or sheetrock but who knows.

YES anything outside their normal duck healthy diet is dangerous. Plastic of any kind included!
