When did the first ten hatch? This one may be too weak to survive if it’s a couple of days behind. It may not have hatched if left alone.

First ten hatched yesterday, we took them out of there because they had knocked this one into another egg and made him bleed a bit. It’s a miracle he’s alive, as for now, should I put a coupl back in there?

That's pretty good. This one is probably just weak, like Bobbi J said. Even if you assist it perfectly it may still not make it.

I wouldn’t - especially with that big hole in the shell. If you put any in there, they could do more damage by accidentally knocking it around as they move about.

she just hatched!!! Ahhh I’m so happy! Her eyes aren’t open.... she is a barred rock mix, and has some blonde on her belly and wing! I’ll update in the morn when she is fluffy.

Welcome to BYC! The cord will fall off on its own. Best to leave it attached and wait for it to dry up.

Congrats!!! She's very pretty. You might want to set an alarm and check on her over night. I'll check in for an update tomorrow! I'm so glad she's out!
