It's tough with ducks because by the time we see they're ill, things may have been wrong for quite a while.

I would consider giving antibiotics. Keep up with baths, try some apple cider vinegar in their water. I'd keep her away from the boys. Perhaps you need to have a girls dorm and a boys dorm for a little while, just for her to rest and the other girl not to be overbred.

Keep up with the vitamins, too. It's tough when they're really sick. But you can let her know you care.

Things getting tougher for the poor gal.
My young son was obviously thrilled with the duck in the tub and decided to make her a bubble bath.
I've rinsed her off but not sure what else to do. I've been concerned with her feathers/oil gland already as she has stopped preening herself once she started feeling ill. If she was already preening, I wouldn't be so concerned but now....I'm beginning to wonder if this poor duck has a chance. She'll be sleeping in a laundry bin of towels by my bedside tonight. :(
I will try to get her antibiotics ASAP but don't think that will be for a few days due to lack of funds right now.
Thanks for all your advice and support.
Wish me luck.

Thanks. They are by far my favorites. I thoughtmy runner mix was KC when I got her but she is so much prettier and still lays like a KC (well, when she's feeling well) :(

If I lose this girl I think it will be the beginning of the end of my duck adventures. I can't take more heartache. My gorgeous crested Cayuga got taken by raccoons last summer. :(
