I am planning to incubate BC maran eggs in the next few weeks. I have no experience with the maran eggs, and heard that they are more difficult to hatch than other breeds. Is it true? What do I need to do different than other eggs? There are conflicting ideas as I heard someone said about keeping the humidity higher, then someone else said lower the humidity as in the dry method. I just cant find any discussion on BYC specifically on this topic. I just dont want to start on the wrong foot and lose all the eggs.
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know too. I hope to get some Maran eggs in the future and I know they are expensive. I wouldn't want to incubate them improperly either. I hope one of the experts responds soon!

I've been hatching Marans eggs for the last 6 years on and off. I don't do anything different for them. I incubate them alongside my other eggs and have good hatches.
