Whiteish one is a mixed cochin, 4.5 months and black one is a full cochin and 5.5 months. I am thinking 2 hens. No crowing at all!!

Thanks for your help.

I've had plenty of cochins and generally they were crowing by 3 month. I think they are all hens. For show, it's ideal for them to have a very tiny comb and these hens are a bit bigger...but then they are large fowl, aren't they?

Of course the black one is a full cochin and is huge and clumsy as heck!! The white on is mixed with a california white that has a HUGE comb for a hen. I want to keep them both. It is so hard to tell if there are saddle feathers due to Libby the black on is shy and runs from me. The pics were taken on zoom. what else should I look for on Libby??

Does it have hackles? pointy feathers, your white looks girlish to me, cochins hen do get a good size comb, not as big as the boys, but.
The black one i am going to say boy.
