I have 6 hens
4 wyandotte hens 11months
2 isa hens 8months
And 1 bad naughty rooster so were going to get rid of him tomorrow morning. Iv already got given a rooster which is 3 months. He has been living so far out side of the coop
WHEN CAN I PUT THE ROOSTER IN THE COOP NEAR THE HENS WHICH ARE LAYING EVERYDAY.
HOW AND WHEN

Plus will my ladies stop laying because of the stress with changing husbands?

Move your new cockrel next to the coop, or in it in a separate cage or pen, once he's past any quarantine. He's likely to get really beat up by these adult birds, being only one young chick. When everyone is free ranging, start letting him out with the group, and supervise. As he grows, things will work out. Mary

He needs a few more months growth before becoming 'husband' material......
......even at 5-6 months old he will not be immediately accepted and might get pounded,
there will definitely be some fighting/resistance as he tries to dominate the girls.
