Please help!!!

I have a baby chick that hatched but has it’s eyelid covering it’s eye. What do I do? Will it be ok??

Not sure exactly what you are saying. Please post a photo so you’re clear.

Are you saying that the eyelid hasn’t opened?

Is the other okay?
Aside from being closed, is it in the correct place and approximately the same size as the other?

Or are you saying that the chick has an obvious eye deformity?

I’d try to keep the eye moist for the night, maybe with
a little dab of antibiotic ointment or mineral oil or terramycin opthalmic ointment if you happen to have some on hand, until someone with experience on eye problems comes up with a plan for you.

Was this an assisted hatch?

Was the chick shrinkwrapped?
