Yolk sac?

We had a chick hatch on its own at 21 days and it’s got what looks like a yolk sac that isn’t absorbed? What should I do for this? It’s a very lively chick so I’d love to help it, if it can be helped. We’ve got it in the incubator by itself since it was the last to hatch.

Hi,

I would leave it in the incubator. It might take an entire 24 hours, but should be okay. I'd leave the settings the same for this one. Usually, when I leave a weak one in, I turn the humidity off and temp to 95F, but this one I'd leave the same settings.

If it looks dry, you can put a tiny amount of coconut or olive oil on it.
