Hi everyone. I am wondering if someone can help me please. We purchased some silkies last week an one small chicken came not well at all had bad pasty bum so I gave her a bath with dawn dish soap an then realized she had lice or mites. I read as much as possible sepreated her from the rest and put de in the straw she layed on. Sadly she passed this morning. Now I am worried for everyone else that was with her prior to this. I feel so sad and bad right now as I know obviously the rest I got also have the same issue. I've spreaded de around coop inside an out but they seem not well today either 😭😓😭😓 I can't believe they would send them to a new home like that. I am wondering if this reptile stuff I have for mites will be ok to spray on the ones I do have left (I've not done it yet as I don't know what to use) the stuff is call jurassi mites. It has sodium lauryl sulfate, cottonseed oil, clove oil, water. Please if there is something I could use please let me know I'm heartbroken for them. Thank you sorry this is so long.

The one that just past away was definitely the youngest an smallest I'm going to guess two or three months at the oldest the oldest I have no idea but she came with bad eggs under her they took one exploded egg an gave me the other one she smelt terrible so I gave her a bath too.

Did you see any of their poops? Was there blood or worms in it?
No blood or worms I've looked everyday. I worry alot so I'm extra cautious but never thought I'd get chickens with bugs so bad :( I've put garlic an apple cider vinegar in there water in hopes that may help a bit too as I read they don't like garlic tasting blood.
