Please help

I had 6 chickens go missing when I was not at home. I could not find any trace of a fight or a struggle. It almost looks like a person got theme sins there is no indicators of a fight and or a struggle.

I'm sorry that you have troubles.

Were your chickens loose/roaming the yard or housed in a secure coop/run?
Photos of your setup may be helpful.

If they were loose/roaming, a predator like Coyote would be a likely suspect.

It could also be a pair of foxes .They don't leave a lot of feathers if they grab them and run.Welcome to byc!

How were your birds housed when they vanished?
What are their ages(in months) and how long have you had them?
Do you have other birds?

Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.

Years ago when starting our first flock we had a neighbor kid climb the fence and they left the gate open. No chickens to be found. Found several hiding under things, spooked I guess and they ran for cover. That night and the next day a few more straggled in. Not sure how long ago this happened but if it was today check the coop area before nightfall, chickens tend to always return to the roost if they have been in that coop more than a few days.
