Please Help !

I watched four hens fly away this morning and havent seen them come back yet . It has been almost 12 hrs did I get Hawked?

BTW .... I did notice last night that two babies had fledged the coop, but it was late when we got home so I didnt look in the coop for them I just assumed they were in there.

Any Idea's ?

hawks may take one or two ,rare to take 4 in a day. hawk kill one at a time and eat that one before killing again.

Have you heard any guns firing since they left? That is likely. My birds have come home with shot holes in their feathers and a pellet in one bird's chest (he lived

). But that was during dove season (on a sunday too, can you believe that!?).

How did you train them. Sure it wasn't a overfly, what was the weather like
