Im hatching quail eggs and all of them pipped yesterday. The humidity is around 70. The membrane looks very white and dehydrated..What do I do? :(

Is that why its hard for them to get out? :( One has been like this since 12:30 the other night!!!

(not trying to complain) Because no on has answered me so far I decided to carefully peel away the membrane ..The top of the air cell is on the chick and I can see small blood veins. Does this mean it's not ready? If so, I'm confused!! It pipped yesterday morning! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they pipped all the way through they should be getting enough air .. If you are seeing Blood with the First they probably need more time ..

you might know more if you gently and slowly help with one .. If i do assist an egg I alwasy start buy just helping them unzip and go ever so slowly in case I see any blood .. Though I have NEVER done Quail only chickens .

yeah, thats what i did with one of them. It looks healthy and everything but i can see small blood veins. It kicked a bit when I put it back in the incubator and ripped a blood vein. I'm not worried though because its not very much blood and its just little blood veins..
