Aww thats so sweet, hope you'll post some pics. are you going to try putting him back with the parents?Hi all - just an update to let you know he is doing well. no injuries noted. watching himself in the mirror and eating like a champ. thanks to everyone who helped
That's great news, geese make such wonderful parents. I hope you can share some pics, would love to see them all. Thanks Miss Lydia- I did put him in a show crate (the wire cage type-we use it to transport and as a temporary hospital occasionally). I put him out in the middle of their yard (he couldn't get out and they couldn't get in) He is talking a lot now so I'm sure that helped - the gander was so interested - walking all around him close and talking in those low tones, then the goose and the other baby came to see also. They all seemed so interested but not aggressive I decided to give it a try (after about an hour of debating with myself) -- well Happy Ending - he is now running around with his big brother/sister and seems to be a really happy little guy. I will try to do some pictures,(I haven't really figured that out yet). Thanks for all your help.
hey are all beautiful. I know you are enjoying watching them. So happy for you they accepted the lil one back into the family.
