please help

hi i have a sick day old chick at first he appeared to be lethargic so i assumed he might need water as she was one of the first out so i thought mabey it was dehydrated but when i tried to give it some water it wouldnt take it so i used a small pipette and it drank down a couple of drops but now the chick is gasping as if strugling to breath i think mabey some water may have goten in air ways its still alive not chirping or moving much other than the gasping is there anything i can do to try clear airways many thanks

There's always a risk of aspiration when you try to get liquids into a chick. Either this chick will clear it's airway and do ok, or it won't. Not much you can do at this point.
