LOL....so you don't mind if I ask another 'humidity' question?
does the chicken sweat on purpose if need be, or is it all very natural and she gets hot, etc...
also do they sweat when hot like people...I sort of thought they panted with their beaks open (like little pet birds) ...???

Yea, chickens don't have sweat glands so they dont actully sweat, I'm not 100% sure how they regulate the humidity, just another one of God's creations to fool us I suppose... They do however pant like you said to cool off.
I've noticed that my hens don't really get up the last few days. I would guess that's how the humidity gets raised. They would get up a couple of times a day until the last few. I also wanted you to know that chickens don't sweat, they do pant. Atleast I'm pretty certain they don't. I've never seen it.

You're right, chickens don't have sweat glands, but they do pant which can be a sign of heat stress and/or respiratory illness. Chickens are cooled by blood that flows through their wattles and combs.
I'm with the group that says let him /her rest before messing with his/her feet. Putting a paper towel for it to stand on will help it figure out its feet, as well. (Needs Gription. Gription=my word for grip and traction)
