I got "her" for free from someone who got chicks from the local feed store. Supose to be a hatchery bird from McMurray I think... I thought Aslotrop (sp?) at first but couldn't be with the white earlobes. The did say she's about 3-3.5 months old. Thanks!!!

Yes, it is a pullet. Sorry, I should have mentioned that in my first reply.

In this photo, there is a pullet to the left and two cockerels on the right. Yours appears to be of similar age:

Thanks all. Bit of a releaf. with those waddles the size they are, quite a bit larger than my br's, rir's who are pretty close to the same age. THANKS!!!

definately a Minorca pullet.Their combs get very large and flop over. They are the largest of the Mediterranean breeds and pound for pound the Mediterranean breeds have the largest combs and wattles...super egg layers too.
My Minorca's are laying 6 days a week...now if your close enough I have a Hatchery quality Roo for you free!

Definatly a girl... i've now had an egg a day for the past 8 days! Very good layer. Nice little cream colored pullet eggs right now.

You will love her

They are fantastic egg layers. We also have a black hatchery roo that is available for adoption also in TN though...he's my extra and have decided to only keep my breeding roo(non hatchery)
They are some of our favorite white egg layers..you will be pleased with the size of the egg too once she's laying for a few weeks.
