Please need advise quickly

let broody hens set on eggs marked the day they started and 21 days will be Aug 1st but i checked today and I have three new chicks already hatched and running around I am ashamed I am not prepared yet been really really busy...what do I feed them for a couple of days till I get chick starter

they can make it a day or two on the reserves from having absorbed the egg yolk, but make certain they can get to water (and also make certain you put marbles or something in it and keep the dish shallow so they can't fall in and drown) and get some chick starter ASAP.

What's their setup like? Are they in a communal coop, in a separate area, out in the open? If she takes her little family out into the yard, she'll certainly find some tidbits for them. But it is risky for them if they're not protected. And like the first poster said, they can survive the first day or two on the yolk they still have stored in their bodies.

the new chicks are in a large galvanized tub with a light and I put a small shallow lid with water and stuck their beaks in it and they drinking
I checked just a few minutes ago and there are 3 more piping
omg!!! I am so excited this is my first hatch omg! omg! they are so cute and lively and perfect
I have the bestest broody moms ever

it was so funny 2 days ago three of the other hens went into her coop and her nest and laid real close to her and they havent left yet
they are all helping her hatch these babies.
I am so proud!!!!

I used chopped raw oatmeal mixed with crumbled hard-boiled egg yolk until I could get chick starter. Mama hen liked it too!

Chicks can go as long as three days, the reason they are pretty easy to mail. I'd feed them cooked eggs, their perfect food. Just don't feed they any layer feed and they will be fine. Cooked oatmeal, dry cereal crunched up, even some cornmeal would be fine. Don't worry too much, chicks with a mom have a big advantage.
