Thank you he’s a real sweetheart to! I just actually rehomed him so his son can take over my new flock. My new rooster is Blue laced silver. He’s not super pretty right now because he’s young but he’s going to be stunning. Trying to think of a name for him.

My two rescued roosters, Theodore Roostervelt (The brown one. Faverolles mix) and Winston Churchill (Black and brown Brahma mix) are out of quarantine and have been in a look-don't-touch pen for a week. Let them out for the first time to meet Orpulf and Buffulf the Orpington-roo's. As expected there were fighting, I stood by to make sure they were un-injured and then put the two new ones away when I saw they were getting tired.

It went well, Theodore stopped and walked away from both Orp's after 5 minutes of fighting. My money's on him to be the new boss.

I like this pic, such intensity!

Winston gave it a go after Theodore and Buffulf had finished. I saw Buffulf was getting tired, so I separated them. He'll get his chance next time.
