Watching you guys, prayers said. I'm just down the coast, and it scares me. The county just slapped a burn ban on, about time!

Any updates.. I hate not hearing from folks when this stuff is happening.. When we had our flood last year the only thing we had was the radio. No phones or cells .. The not knowing is awful.. I continue to pray for you all.. Please let us know you are all safe...

The county just slapped a burn ban on, about time!

the whole state is under a burn ban now as of 3:30 yesterday.. the forestry commision issue it yesterday...there will be a 500 dollars fine​

The report this morning is the fire is 85% contained and still have been no injuries or deaths thank the Lord.I live in the southern part of the county so all my property is safe but the fire has been within 3 or 4 miles of where I work.The smoke has been almost unbearable at times up there but I do believe things are looking up at this point.Let just hope and pray the wind doesn't pick up too much as this could cause more problems.Thanks for everyone's concern and prayers but continue to remember us as there are at least 70 homes completely destroyed and at least another 100 that are damaged.One person I work with lost his home and he is 80 years old.I couldn't imagine havving to start over anytime but losing everything at that age is just unthinkable.Several more have been effected but I haven't heard exactly how bad yet.I'll keep you posted when I know more.
