You know, I had a chick come out with that same bump. Turned out it had some yolk in it because I went to clean her off one night to get the chickie doo-doo off her butt and that area and it pulled something off and she began to drip yolk. I shouldnt of touched it because she died the next day.
It was getting smaller as she lived for three days before I screwed it up as it was alot bigger when she came out of the shell. Hope yours does ok.
