Please say a prayer for hubby, Steve

And so it should! They will pay in the end for losing a committed hard worker.

Karma happened here! Company in question with BIL also forced out another long (38 years) standing employee. Got took court and had to pay a large amount in compensation for unfair dismissal.

@Yorkshire Coop Glad to hear that Karma got that company. Unfortunately here Montana is the only state that has some protection to workers. There a person can not be fired if they are on medical leave. All others you still can be fired on medical leave, but most companies won't do that. But they can fire for no reason. Makes it hard to prove age is a factor. They are nit picking, one was they said he didn't clean an oil drip good enough on a cross member and the oil filter wasn't tight enough, even though it was to spec. Then said he didn't fix a window that wasn't on the work order. The boss's son stuck up for Steve, that says a lot to me.
When Steve told me that incident, he said I'm not taking eggs or baked goods to work. I said Hell no if that other workers are back stabbing to cover their butts no one gets free eggs. I would rather throw them away than give to them.
Dogs (Scrappy and Nicco) and birds are getting some scrambled eggs now :lau . Missy (female Chihuahua) won't eat any human food. Neighbor is getting eggs too.
Actually I look for Steve to come home any day saying he was let go. Have his resume updated and printed for him.

Well it has happened. Steve went to work to be met by both bosses (owners). After 18 years and 4 months he was let go. I knew the minute I saw him pull in. He is so mad he has been shaking. I'm so mad, I cry when I am this mad. Of course even with the blood pressure meds his blood pressure is way up. A friend called him and they talked about it. Friend worked there 8 years ago so he knows what they do.
Went outside and cleaned up the fenced area of all tree debris to try to get some release. Worked as long as I kept busy.

I'm so sorry, that's a shabby way of treating someone. And it hurts when it happens to the ones we love. :hugs

Staying busy is a great stress release. I'm hoping something better comes your way soon.

@N F C thanks:hugs Did both of our blood pressures. Mine was sky high, but I didn't tell him. If a doctor would have seen that, my hiney would have been in the hospital. Don't need that. Have a headache now. Has come down some. He calmed down. He is waiting to hear back from his brother. He needs his brother's help to get his toolbox (big snapon toolbox)and have his brother take it down to his home shop.
Said he is going to go tomorrow and file for unemployment. He was looking at job openings this afternoon.

Thank You :hugs Just hoping we get to see Karma in action with them. Karma already took action on a worker that backstabbed. He slashed his hand open at work (didn't practice saftey), had to have stitches and missed a week of work. With them if you don't kiss their hineys, it is held against the worker.
They are in trouble. I got out the documents, showing they are not putting what the workers have taken out for their 401k. They have 14 days (time for 50 or under employees) and they keep it for 3 months. Steve called State and Federal and filed the complaint, faxed the documents. They called back saying they got the documents and it is going to be investigated. I had the documents back 6 years ago when Steve had lung surgery and his disability claim was denied because they didn't pay it even though it was deducted from his check. Another worker was denied the dental he had put on for non payment. Well when we got that denial letter, I saw red. I went off on them and said you have 3 days to get this matter corrected or I am going to get the state involved. Someone is going to be paying his time off. You are committing insurance fraud and I have the proof. 2 days later got a letter saying Steve's disability was approved and payments were up to date. Other worker got his dental approved too. Boy did they kiss up to Steve
You would think they would know I keep track of that stuff. And I keep those kind of documents. Guess they forgot who they were dealing with.
