I was given a pair of BB Red Phoenix yesterday, and the male looks young, maybe 4 months old. The hen looks full grown. When is she going to start laying again, and what age do roosters start mating?
What do I need to know about this breed besides having a tall roost for the sake of the roo's tail, and not letting the roo's tail get muddy?
