be sure to let us know either way after the crowing or egg laying. I have 3 silkie chicks that are 5 weeks old on sunday and i've been watching alot of the silkie guessing game on here. when mine get all thier feathers grown in i'm posting pics to let people guess as well.

I can only see one picture... maybe if I could see more I could make a more accurate guess. Do you see streamers? With silkies even going off of the comb is too hard... A lot of them from either sex "honk" which can be mistaken for crowing...

I agree with the one that said it is hard to tell with Silkies because I have some hens that have bigger combs than that.
