Oh no!!!!!

My toddler daughter woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to see if the eggs hatched. Unknowingly, she turned the temp knob on the incubator and when I went
in to turn this morning they were at 125!!!!!!!!

What am I going to do? Are they done? Today was day 18 and they were going on lockdown sad

I am just at a loss....all that work and babying.....I just want to cry

I had 5 polish, 2 sizzles, 1 seabright and 1 araucana in there.

You might as well wait the last few days, but eggs that spike to 106 for only 2 hours don't survive, so if they were at above 106 for over 2 hours, there is only a little chance they will hatch. Hopefully yours will be the exception. I'm sorry and I'll cross my fingers for you!

I've never hatched any eggs but I just recently read a similar story on here. If I remember right most replies said they should be OK. Good Luck

that's pretty high....I would just candle to find out and if they are moving and if so wait a few hours and candle again. I had a knob on my homemade bator and ended up buying a locking digital thermostat so I wouldn't have the stress of my kids added to the whole incubating thing. Hope they make it

Thanks all! I let them cool down and am trying to get it regulated. I am going to candle tonight.

I just feel so awful

Those poor babies in there.

If they're in lockdown there's no point in candling. Best bet is to go into normal lockdown and see what happens.

So sorry that happened, kids and incubators seem to not mix very well. They get so impatient!

Hope somthing works out for you.
