Please tell me they aren't boys!!

While the curl in the tail would normally be worrying, there's no worry here! Red Sex Links are named as such because they are Sex Linked. Males and females are a different color at hatching, so sexing is 100% accurate! What you see is what you get.

Thankyou. That is what I thought, my four were a very much paler colour than the two boys - that is why I chose them. We hatched them in the reception class at my school. I must admit though, she did sow a seed of doubt...!
 
Red Sex Links vary quite a lot in color. They can range from mostly red to mostly white and still be female, and the actual color can be anywhere from the deep red of a RIR to an orange color, brighter than a Buff Orp! It's because they're a hybrid breed, rather than purebred.
