Please tell me this is a pullet (Barred Rock)

I picked out one Barred Rock from a straight run. The first pic is about a week old. The second one is 5 1/2 weeks old. I'm really hoping this is a pullet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I read a post on here about the dots on the heads and to me they all sort of look the same to me. I also read about the females having darker legs. I noticed this morning it's legs are showing more black indicating a female, then I read another article and it states roo. I'm so confused. Thank you

I want to say pullet because I want you to be happy - but that isn't really what I think. The light barring, comb size and color, and the fact that the dot on the chick's head is higher and circular all say roo to me. I just raised a number of barred rocks last year and that one looks like the ones that turned out to be male for me. Sorry. Always a chance I'm wrong...S/He is very cute, though.

wow thank you for the quick reply. I had a feeling this might be a roo. It's okay if it is. The other 5 mixed are pullets. I was getting so confused on the overwhelming articles on this breed. Thank you again
