I dont know how to get my girls that fat

i have some about 16 weeks.. they are healthy looking but that looks like a full sized hen to me... did you feed her grower or did you go from chick feed to layer( like i did) this batch of chicks.. we just got grower. maybe that will help. but also.. they are ameraucanas supposedly(ee) so they arent as fat i think. my baby wyandottes are huge compared to the leghorns chicks. maybe thats just the difference.

Tyrannasaurus Chix--Well, I think they were born around the first of April, maybe even the last week of March ( the breeder wasn't quite sure--he was kind of overrun with chickens--can you imagine??? lol), so they could be as old as 18 or 19 weeks old. We got them about the begining of May. They sure seem almost full sized to me, especially the roosers in the bunch! We fed them starter feed, then grower, plus they free range for several hours per day. That's probably why they are such Fatties! MY EE's are much smaller, too, even taking into account the EE's are about one month younger..... I would love to see Pix of your chix!

igot my teens at an auction, april 9th they weresoldasstraightrun, 3week olds.. butiremember they were fuzzy

mine free range also, i think maybe its their breed or its that they didnt get the grower.

Total roo...and more good news. I dont think that is a BO. Looks like a New Hampshire to me.
