These chickens are about 16 weeks. Sold to me as pullets, but I’m having doubts. One is silver laced and one is gold laced.

Thanks that’s what I suspected. The black bird is an ayam cemani, also sold as pullet, but I’m kind of excited because those are beautiful roosters. I’m not sure if he’s mixed though because of that poof on top

Would like a close-up of their saddle and neck. Pictures a bit blurry to tell, especially with the lacing. Don't see any noticeable sickles which at least one usually would come in around now.

However, the silver lace looks like a male to me from the very pointy saddle feathers coming in.

I would weigh other's opinions over mine.

Sorry if these were already shared above, these are from about a week ago
The golden one might be female! :fl
My reasons:
darker coloring
seems rounded and normal length neck feathers at the base of neck
rounded feathers on the saddle

I'm almost 100% sure the silver one is male, also has hackle feathers.

Also the Ayam Cemani roo is gorgeous!

Again, I'd still get another's opinion on it as I'm a newbie who's only been reading chicken books for a year!

edit: thinking it over, the iridescent coloring on the tail signifies rooster, there's no females that'll have such a shiny butt!

Yup definitely roos this is what a hen would look like at that age vs a roo

That pattern makes it hard to tell at this stage but these look a lot like male saddle feathers growing in, to my eye

Not true, iridescence doesn't mean male. Plenty of pullets and hens with black feathers are iridescent too.
