Please Tell Me You're Molting Too?

Well Rod, i still have few hairs left, think they're bound to fall out anyday now- Oops... You mean the chickens..

Well mine have been molting, starting to finish up now i think.
 
My Dark Cornish is the only one to molt so far. How often are they supposed to do this? Does climate have any effect on it?
I sold off most of my older layers. If the rest all molt at the same time- I'll have no eggs

My black rosecomb roo, Sgt Pepper, his tail has been molting. He got best of breed in the open show, and the next day he had no tail.

He still got best of breed because he was the only rosecomb entered in the show period.

Ours all are. Good timing though, our first summer/fall show is in Sept.
 
WHEW! I was thinking "Well, at least they'll be ready for fall shows" but I FREAKED when I walked up there.

We've been having predation problems and I was actually looking for a missing bird! I thought whatever it was it was dead. Counted them all and not one missing. Scared the poo out of me!

At least mine aren't the only ones dropping their feathers!
