I hope the Judge in Florida allows chickens

This is another whole discussion but; I would LOVE to see Michigan's Right to Farm act in action all over the USA rather than just in Michigan. I know there is always a few that ruin it for the majority, but I really don't understand why we as humans don't have the basic right to produce our own food (Such as having a few goats for milk, chickens for eggs, or other animals for meat as an example) any more.... Anyway back to florida!

Later in the code (92.02) it says that Dogs, Cats, and other small domestic animals shall be permitted... before we got the chickens we spoke to the author of that code and she said that the reason for the code is to ban slaughter housed etc. in other sections of the code it clearly stated how chickens should be kept (coops, cleaning up etc.) and also at what age you can sell chickens (8 weeks) and also that dying chicks in illegal.

Also this city government is extremely corrupt, they rack-up code liens on houses because the judge that hears the cases buys foreclosures as his living! so if they force homes to foreclose he can buy and sell them, and gives them a percentage. On one home they racked up $400 K in fines for not cutting the grass, another they cited for tiling his back deck without a permit (it says on their website that you do not need a permit to tile) the list goes on but I have to make dinner.

Yeah if there's info on housing and such then that's a pretty clear allowance for them. I think they've got their actual code saved on some other site... amlegal?? It just would NOT come up for me at all. Stupid crappy DSL... I'm beginning to loathe ATT... or rather SBC who's now going by the name ATT.

But at least them listing the other violators gives you some allies... bet they weren't counting on that.

Ok you have called the community racist, the neighbor racist an now you are calling the judge corrupt. True or not you are asking for a lot more trouble than you are already in by posting those comments on the internet. This is a high ranked site an google will have this show up pretty high in there ranking just by searching the town name if its not already there. I would hate to know what the judge would do if he read all this.

Any town/city that has an ordinance against chickens should be immediately vacated by those owning chickens, and those that remain should be strictly forbidden to eat eggs or poultry....as they are direct dirivitives from the "outlawed fowl". See how well they really like life without chicken.....

I just bought to airacona hens and hollywood is saying there not allow I don't know who to believe they say and oridance code says different can someone help. ? I love the hens omg I will not just let them go or give away. We have neighbors that have roasters y can they ? Or people with to many dogs that keep u up all night these girls r so quiet I don't understand.....
