My barred rocks are older now, I will look to see if I have an older pic from when they were younger.

I also make and summer sausage out of deer and goose and that takes a lot of time so I purchased a commercial unit from Cabelas for saving that in a freezer. Canning is not just for soups the meat is just like pressure cooking. Once it is canned in a quart jar already seasoned with salt and pepper it can last 3 or more years on a shelf. In 20 min. from the time you open the can you cook rice or potatoes, make gravy and be eating. I will certainly be freezing some. I will be looking for the golden bros. Thanks
