Mine do that too... But they're looking for kitchen scraps. Whenever I cook, I let them have the leftovers (that they can eat) and things you cut off veggies, like stems (chopped) and things of that nature. It sometimes gets to the point that if I open the back door, they come running. LOL.

Me too! You'd think there was a brigade beating on the door or something. Of course, they don't knock on the door they can see in to like the OP. They knock on a solid door the dogs can't see them through.
