Plexiglass window designs

I am thinking of something exactly on these lines except that the outer frame will cover over the outside of the coop instead of folding into it. What are the dimensions of your window? What would you suggest? I've framed my studs 16 inches o.c.

Very cool idea. I might implement this idea into my next coop construction, which I have scheduled to start during my march break (reading break). Sadly, in my area of the province, we don't have any stores that sell barn sash windows however, I might have some smaller sized storm windows that I could use for an idea such as yours. Beautiful handiwork by the way, I only hope that the cold climate and windy conditions allow for a set up such as yours. Thanks for posting!

This might be difficult to see, but we just cut a square in the coop, cut a sheet of plexiglass to fit the hole, and connected it with hinges. It remains closed when we connect the little hook on the outside of the window to the little screw circle thing (like the olden day locks).
