I improve their diet?

If they are all mature then you can feed a nutritionally balanced Layer Feed that's at least 16% protein. I would limit scratch to no more than 10% of their diet.

You can also feed an all flock/flock raiser type feed that's 18-20% protein. This is what I do since I have a "mix" of birds - male/female and different ages. With a higher protein feed, I still try to keep treats or scratch to around 10% since most of mine are confined.

Do make oyster shell available free choice when feeding either type of feed.
