Pluses and minuses of burbon reds.

I am thinking about getting some burbon reds what are some pluses and miniuses of the breed.

Pros: Lets see, so far my tom has not been aggressive toward me, even now during breeding season. The hen is laying daily. They are a beautiful bird. They dress out nicely, good flavor and a good growth rate for a non commercial bird.

Cons: Ummmm..... guess I'll have to get back to you on that one.

the only con I could even think about is the young hens don't like to stay in their area- I guess they are so curious they couldn't stand it. lol Once they got bigger they stay put now.

My ole Tom BR is a pet... Hmm I mean pest...

He follows me everywhere.. Maybe he likes when I rub his head..

The only aggressive acts he has taken is when I take my 3 and 5 gallow waterers out for cleaning and refilling..

He has some stupid ideal that he needs to jump and kick the crap out of them...

Now that is scary...

But as for me... He has never done anything as of yet to receive the stew pot...
