My Horstman line Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks have been very good layers as I am still getting eggs with the cold temperatures of the last couple months. Todays temperature high was only in the upper 20's but it didn't seem to bother my Horstman line Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks.

its not a chicken YET, wait till I breed him to my hen, then ill be having some real naked chicks

A couple pictures I took today of my Danny Padgett line Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks at 20 weeks old. There are 3 pullets I hatched from my Dick Horstman line in the bunch also that are 14 1/2 weeks old.

My WRs and PRs are very calm and have wonderful temperaments but the BRs never have...though they are hatchery sourced and probably more Maran than BR, so probably cannot be counted as such.

Same here, if I walk in the coop the start crowing and squalking.

My Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks are very calm and gentle. The cockerels & pullets have never shown any aggression towards me.

My SPPR are very calm, I have to shove them out of the way of the door because they just don't care.
