Plymouth Rock thread!

How are their weights going?

It is very cold today as it is 12:00 and still below freezing. At this temperature it is to cold for me to get the scales out. It is days like today that reminds me where I was born "FLORIDA" LOL. I will definitely get the weights and post them at a better time or I guess I should say a better temperature.

My cockerel has never shown an interest is any of the other chickens, except for one d'uccle pullet that for some reason he doesn't like at all. Well apparently he was just waiting for me to get one of his "own kind". It was very difficult to get a decent picture of her, because when I went to take a picture he would stand between me and her, I go to the other side so does he. So got a lot of picture with him in the way and very few of her. He did the wing dance 3 times and has not quite following her. She started a fight with a bantam mottled cochin and he broke it up by pecking each on the head. And here is him in my way. You can see her tail chest behind his neck.
Gorgeous pair!

Hey, who here has the blues now? Since halo sold out of hers awhile back, not many have posted them other than me, that I recall.

Breeding to the Standard of Perfection. No "Halo" lines. Breeding stock sales to serious breeders only--none available at present. I do not sell eggs.

Very nice. I like the dark blue.

These are my only two Blue Rocks and they are over 3 years old now, will be 4 in the spring. The one nearest the window is pale as she is just starting to get to the end of a very hard molt; she usually looks healthier than that. She was positively skeletal this year. Lots of hard molts this year.
