Plymouth Rock thread!

I'm so sorry. :-(

Today, I let them out to run and dirt baths. It was exhausting running out everytime I would see them bolt for cover. I don't know what is stalking them. I did see a huge bird soaring and I think it was an Eagle, but it kept going. Thankfully, they all went to the coop tonight and I can rest...LOL
 
Anybody got words of wisdom on breeding australorps. I am two generations removed from hatchery birds with them. Seems most bird don't look like the standard I see in pics on the web. So many look real show type, which look orp, or Wyandotte to me. kick it. Who has good ones...... Start where you are ............ Whith what ya got. Right?

Chickens can pick up eggs with their wings.....Tuck them right under there.

Thank you, I would just hate to have chicks shipped from too far, but maybe it's not a problem in Spring...otherwise it's too hot...I will look it up.
