Plymouth Rock thread!

The most activity I have seen is at dusk and dawn.
Well, I let them out at 8:30am, I usually wait til 10 but had to be at a meeting, got home at 4:50 and it was dark. I have not idea when it happened. Good to know though, I guess I thought Owls only hunt in the dark. Thank you :)

Keep in mind that the larger hawks hunt during the day.....I have lost a few LF birds (young ones) to Red Tailed Hawks

we see the red tailed frequently. I don't know how they would "lift" Betty. She was a 3yr old Barred Rock...what do you think? There wasn't any feathers left behind, like she just vanished...

Yeah I would think a coyote. Sorry.

We for sure know of the Coyotes taking our hens, we've chased them...the only Fox I found was one that I have pictured on my site...she was turned over to Animal Control...I didn't even know we had Fox...now I know!

My blue Plymouth Rock chicks should be hatching on Christmas!
