Plywood Coop Floor Options

ha. Keeping me honest indeed, egg head. ~.007 conversion factor.

Shouldn't be too hard to remove those front boards. And I'll look into raising the threshold on those doors. Tips appreciated.

I used a sheet of FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) for my coop floor. It's the textured plastic wall material you see on the walls of commercial kitchens. I put the textured side down, smooth side up. It's glued down on top of the plywood floor. Cleaning is a piece of cake. I use pine shavings, mostly under the roosts. I just sweep out the dirty stuff. If there's poop dried on the floor, it easily scraps out.

Anyways, lowes and all those places have it in 4x8 sheets.

Knocked those front boards out under the roof, despite the Kreg HD screws and wood glue. Some chicken wire there in the interim, hardware cloth to be installed eventually. Should have plenty more air flowing.
